(Knock, Knock) “Come in…” “Hello sir! You wanted to see me?” “Yes, Bro, I want you to ‘go get’ Brother James for me, and bring
him here, so that I can have a talk with him, OK?” “Uh, sure sir, of course, but, sir, what if Brother James doesn’t come, what then?”
“Doesn’t come? What do you mean, ‘What if he doesn’t come?’” “I mean, sir, what if he, uh, doesn’t want to come, and I can’t ‘get’ him to?”
“Want to come? What does that have to do with it? God and I want him to come, and that’s all that really matters, isn't it?” “Uh, yessir,
Pastor, sir, of course, sir…but, um…" "No, Brother, no 'but ums'. What you do is 'go and get' them to want to, after all, who really wants
to? I don't even want to sometimes, but what does that matter?? And if I 'got' to answer the call of God in my life, then why don't
everybody else?!" "Uh, isn't that anyone else, Pastor, sir?" "Look, Brother, when I want a grammar lesson, I'll ask for one!" "But that's
what you teach sir..." "That's right! and I make the rules, so I can change them, right?" "Yessir..." "So, then if I teach the grammar lesson, I
can change it. After all, there exceptions to every rule, and if anybody is going to be excepted from them, it's going to be me first, because I was
here first, right?" "Right, sir!" "Right! and, so that, of course, includes anybody or anyone else I may choose to except, especially my own,
that I am supposed to provide for, right?" "Right, Sir! But, sir, and I know this is going to sound even sillier, but what about the Brother’s
right to his own will?” “Right?!Brother, you know Christians have no rights! My God, Brother, first the people go to thinking they have
some sort of special ‘rights’, and the next thing you know, they’re thinking they can make up their own minds about their own spiritual things,
when God has put us Pastors over them for that, and that would be lawlessness! Brother, our commission from The Lord won’t allow us to
let people just ‘go off’ and do whatever it is they decide to do! We’ve got to fight for them, even if they don’t want us to, whether they will
or not! and no matter what ‘rights’ they think they have! And you guys are the ones God, and I, need to ‘go’ out there and ‘get’ them back
here for us, so I can try and talk some sense into their foolish heads of mush, and so by-pass their own hard hearts!” “Uh, Yessir...so then…
let me see if I ‘got’ this right, sir… you ‘get’ us to ‘get’ them, and it is God that ‘gets’ you to ‘get’ us to ‘get’ them, so that you can then ‘get’
them back to God, who ‘got’ you to start this process in the first place?” “Right, Brother! That’s God’s spiritual chain of command. That’s
the one biggest reason why the people have got to obey their rulers, like me, because it’s not just their own souls at stake, but the whole
Program of God depends upon it! So, what do ‘rights’ and ‘wills’ matter, when it comes not only to ‘the souls of men and women’, but also
to the advancment of God's own Program, which I run?! You see, Brother? My whole ministry rides on this very thing! That is the willingness
of the true believers to submit to me, and God, and to do whatever I tell them to do, especially in relation to the efforts of ‘going’ to ‘get’
people in this church andProgram! Brother, this is WAR! Not no good-will or benevolence society! We ain’t the boys' and girls' club here,
nor scouts! We are fighting with people, I mean, for people to bring their souls back to where they belong and out of the devil’s, or anybody
else's, clutches that are not a recognized part of our organization! We’re God’s ‘Special Forces’! We're His...Soulwinners!”
“Yes Sir! Praise God, Sir! That's pretty impressive! So then, I guess I’ll just have to make sure that he does come, Sir!” “Right!
That’s what soulwinning is, after all, Brother. Going to ‘get’ people and bring them here where God wants them, right?” “Yessir! So, Pastor,
um, how much force then should I use to ‘get’ him to come, if he doesn’t want to come?” “How much force? Why, we use whatever ‘force’
it takes to ‘get’ the job done for the Lord, of course! But just make sure you pray first, before you do use the force. That’s why we call it
‘Prayer Force’; using ‘The Force’ of God after prayer to ‘get’ people to do what they may, or may not, want to do of their own accord, but
it is the very thing that God does want them to do, and we know that, because we prayed! And we know that they aren’t praying at all,
otherwise, of course, they would already be here, just like the rest of you good brothers and sisters around me! Otherwise, God and I would
not be needing to send folks like you after them in the first place! So, then, we could well be called the Special ‘Prayer’ Forces of God!”
“Oh, yessir, Pastor! I sure do love it, when you explain everything so logically to me. It just makes me think more and more that at least I am
in the right place! But, um, Pastor, not to be contrary about it, or anything like that, but, um, what if I pray, and God says He doesn’t want
me to use any force at all, but I should just leave it entirely up to Brother James?” “If God says that to who, Brother?” “Why, to me, sir.
You know, while I’m praying about it?”
“Brother, look, um, maybe you should have a seat for a minute, ok?” “Yea, sure thing Pastor!” “Ok, now, Brother. Let me ‘get’ this
right…You are ‘concerned’ that God may not ‘want’ you to use any force at all, when you pray ‘about’ it, because He ‘told’ you so, right?”
“Uh, yessir! That’s about it…” “Well, Brother, for starters, I’ve already prayed ‘about’ it, so you don’t have to. You can just pray about the
‘details’ of how to ‘go’ about it. And, furthermore, God has already 'told' me that He wants that man here, so that settles the ‘force’ issue.
And thirdly, brother, and this is really the most important part here, what makes you think God 'talks' to you, like he does to me?” “Uh, well,
um, I don’t know. I mean, I was just trying to…” “Trying to what, Brother…” “Uh, I don't know, sir, trying to be spiritual?" "How about
trying to lift yourself up to my level, Brother?" "Oh, you think so, Sir?!" "I know so, Brother. Remember I'm the expert here, and I've seen
this all before many times in my career. You give a Brother a simple assignment, and he starts getting uplifted thoughts in his head, like he
knows what God wants him to do more than his own Pastor, whom God has put in that leading position for that very reason in the first place!
You see?" "Omigosh, sir! Yes, you're absolutely right again, sir! I didn't even see it coming!" "That's right, Brother. That's also why I'm here,
and you're there, to tell you these things for your own good. And, further, if you'll pass this all-important truth on to others around the world,
and especially among your own brothers and sisters, then they will be better off for it, too!" "Yessir! That's being a 'witness', right?" "Right,
Brother! A promoter of the all-important role of the Pastor in each and every Christian's life for the Lord!" "Praise God, sir!" "Yes, that's
right, Brother, Praise God! Who just is not going to ‘talk’ to the members about what He wants them to do in His work, the same way
He’s going to talk to His leaders, because that could easily lead to confusion, and confusion is not of God. You see, this conversation and
time we’re spending even now discussing it is a case in point.” “Uh, yessir, Pastor. But, what about where John says, in his first epistle, that
we all have the same anointing to teach us what we have no need of any other man teaching us, concerning them which would seduce us?”
“Brother, (with his head on the table…) amI trying to seduce you?” “Oh, of course not, Pastor! I love you, and I know you love me! But I
was just quoting the verse in context of them that do try to seduce us from the truth, and our own walk with God…” “Yes, Brother, of
course, so you see how that Scripture, then, does not apply with me and you in this case? Why, this is your Pastor talking to you about the
work of God! And God has told me to tell you to ‘go get’ that man for me, and so, why would God select you, by me, if not to send you
also, by me, the way I say He wants you sent? Which is to do whatever it takes, for his own good, right?” “Right, sir!” “So, we’ll just
leave that there.”
“But also, Brother, be careful about that ‘Brother James’ stuff. I was only using it mostly out of charity. After all, he’s not here where he’s
supposed to be anymore. And God, and I and, yes, also you, Brother have to ‘go’ through all this to ‘get’ him back, although, we, being
true, caring Christians, don’t mind at all, right?” “Right sir! But, then, would that mean that he now has ‘rights’ again, not being a real
Christian anymore, for not being in church with us?” “No, no, Brother, (Groan…) let’s not go to far off the deep end, here. I just said to be
careful about using the term ‘Brother’ with such people. I never said they were not at all Christians when they don’t come to my church.
Let’s wait and see what he does, first, then we can decide all that later, ok?” (I have to watch it with this Brother! He may be a bit ‘out
there’sometimes, but he can be quick…) “Right sir! So, I don’t need to pray about it at all, but just ‘go get’ him with whatever force it
takes, because God has already talked to you about it…” “No, Brother, no, not at all. Remember, I did say that you should pray for the
details of how to do it, and so that the force we use before the Lord, for their own sakes, is ‘prayer force’ and not ‘man force’ or just plain
old ‘force force’. You see? After all, we’re not a cult or something here. This is the very work of God!” “Yessir Pastor! So, I should
always, then, pray first, that ‘prayer force’ would be with us in our endeavors before the Lord, but just not to ‘ask’ Him about, nor allow
ourselves to ‘think’ that, God is telling us anything different than what you’ve already told us that He was telling us to do, right?” “Uh, well,
yes, Brother, you could say that, yes. But just don’t forget to pray about the details of your capture, I mean, your task before the Lord, so
that God can ‘inspire’ you in it. You know, less fuss & muss that way…”
“Oh, you mean no bloodshed, Sir?” “What?!” “Oh, Ha, Ha, sir! I was just joking with you, I am sorry sir, very sorry. You know me
and my sense of humor…I mean, I didn’t mean to startle you or nothing like that, sir…” “Yes, Brother, right. I do know about it, although I
don’t always know about you. I do like you and all, and you do show a lot of promise in the soulwinning business, but, neither are we a
bunch of Nimrods around here, either.” “We’re not?” “Oh no, Brother, not at all. Although Nimrod was a real ‘Go-getter’, even one of the
first perhaps, and you can’t help but admire him for that, yet he was not a ‘good’ one, though successful. You see, he wasn’t praying before
went out to 'get’ people for his religious program. So, the difference between himself and others like him today, that don’t pray anymore in
their ‘go-getting’efforts (winking with his eye at the Brother), and ourselves, is that we do pray! So our ‘going and getting’ people to come
out and join us, or come back to us, is of God, but all theirs’ is not, you see?” “Uh, yessir, Pastor, but how do you know Nimrod didn’t
pray, or the others don’t? After all, Jesus Himself taught that the heathen pray too…” “Well, Brother, as for Nimrod, he could have indeed
been praying, even ‘before the Lord’, which is better than some folks (heh, heh, wink, wink), but, obviously, his prayers were not ‘good’
prayers, like ours are.” “But, how do we know that? I mean, didn’t he probably pray for the same thing? Like God ‘getting’ people into his
program and making soulwinners out of them? Or that he might have success at his endeavors to help God do that, or something…?”
“Brother, that’s pure supposition on your part. You have to be careful about that.” “Uh, yessir, sorry sir…” “No problem, but we do know
that his prayers, if he did pray, were not ‘good’ ones, because he does not have a ‘good’ name for his efforts in the ‘people business’, you
see?” “ Yessir, but our name ain’t that great among some people, either, right?” “Sure, Brother, but there are always going to be fault-
finders with God’s servants!” “How do weknow they are fault-finding, though?” “What?!” “Oh no, Pastor, I didn’t mean that the way it
sounded, sir. Please forgive me, sir! I was just asking about any objective evidence that would prove that, other than just our word against
their’s…” “Uh-huh, ok, Brother, I see your point, and that’s good of you to be aware of that in competeing for the 'peoples’ business', but
it is obvious they are fault-finding, simply because they are the ones that do not pray anymore. And before you ask the next question, we
know they do not pray, because they are not with us, but also are fault-finding to boot! So, they are either not praying at all, or they don’t
pray right, anymore, and I believe the former, because I was watching.” “But, sir, we say they are wrong in their efforts, so how do we
know that we are not the actual non- or wrong-praying fault-finders with them, which is certainly what they say of us?” “What?! Brother,
sometimes I just don’t know about you! Look, ‘Brother’, it's simple. We know we do pray, and we know we do pray, right, and, most
importantly, I am the leader in it!” “Oh, of course, sir! Why wasn’t I thinking of that? That’s obvious!”
(The Brother gets up and begins pacing the floor…) “But, also, sir, aside from the praying debate, what about the Bible?” “What do you
mean, Brother?” “Well, sir, I mean, is there, like, any Biblic or Scriptural basis for ‘going’ out to ‘get’ people to come back to us in the first
place, especially if they don’t want to?” “Brother, I’m not going there…because the Bible or God don’t have to spell out every little detail of
our lives, right?” “But sir, this isn’t just some ‘little detail’, is it? I mean, we’re talking about the whole soulwinning program, aren’t we? I
mean, that’s what we’re all about in our service to God. That comes before, and even instead of, everything else in our lives! like you preach
and teach and exhort and talk about, all the time, right?” “Well, of course, Brother! That’s what we’re all about! ‘Go-Getting-the-people'
Christians for God! And I, for one, absolutely love it! I love the lust of, I mean, the joy of
hear our Gospel and to worship at our altars and to go on and join our Program for getting more people! By God! There’s nothing else so
satisfying and thrilling and victorious on earth! I do so love to see people, who did not evenwant to, end up coming to my altars as a direct
result of my persuasive efforts, of prayer force, before the Lord! Don’t you?!” “Oh, Yessir! Yessir! Me too, sir! Absolutely sir!" "Yes,
Brother, but do you love it enough to marry it?!" "Marry it, sir?" "Yes, Brother, I mean marry it! Give yourself wholly and completely to it,
as Christ gave Himself for the church,so do we! Nazarites of consecration! None better than us! The best of the best! Married to the
preaching business like she was our very own! Nourishing it, taking care of it, runing and ruling it! Ha! Ha! Haaaaa! Yes! I really love it!
More than father, more than mother, more than sister, and brother, and wife, and children, and..." "Pastor! Sir! Are you alright, sir?!" "Am I
alright?! What a ridiculous question, Brother! Of course, I'm alright! Is a duck happy in his water? Does an eagle fly and drop her offspring
from on high and not love it?! and, Brother, remember this always! Once I toss 'em out of the nest, I never miss the recovering catch, ok?
You can trust, me, Brother, like a man that takes absolute care of his wife and kids! except, of course, we're talking about the preacher and
his church, you see?" "Ahh, yes...sir...I believe I do sir..." "Good! Good! I certainly do hope so, Brother!" "You don’t have to worry about
me, Pastor, I’m a loyal member and worker of your church and ministry to the core! I guess, like in marriage, you do 'got' me!” “Well, I
thought so Brother, but it don’t hurt to ‘check’ now and then, right? I mean, I am supposed to be watching over your soul, right? And neither
do I want any grief about it either, ok dear, I mean,
Brother?” “Uh, Yessir!”
“Now, Brother, also, so far as the Bible goes, I wasn’t saying God didn’t have anything to say about it, but I just don’t normally get into
the Bible much on such obvious efforts for the Christian to serve in. It would just take up a lot of valuable time.. like now… for instance. But
that is also why He has given us of His Spirit, so that we would know about these things by instinct…” “Oh, Yessir, you mean, as I was
talking about the same anointing we have to teach us what no man need teach us and to not be caught by seducers, right?” “Yes, Brother,
that too, although I wasn’t exactly talking about that. And, in this case, that would, of course, not include the Pastor of the church who God
has in place over His church to tell the people what God wants them to do in their soulwinning efforts. After all, someone has to be in
coordination of the program, else it would be chaos, and people would be praying about everything they do, and even double-checking
everything I tell them to do, and nothing would get done! And nothing is impossible with God, so obviously it would not be of God to leave
it up to Himself to teach everyone how to do his own soulwinning and labors, you see?” “Uh, yessir, I think so. That certainly sounds logical…”
(Whew! I thought I was boxed in for a moment there…but, I still got it!) “But, still sir, you said there was some Bible to back up ‘getting’
people against their wills, or changing their wills to come out or back?” “Oh, yes, yes, of course, Brother! Jesus said we were to go out and to
compel them to come in to His house. It’s as simple as that.” “Yessir, but I read once where the Catholic Church used that one verse of
Scripture to justify the ‘Inquisition’.” “So?” “So..uh…sir…I mean…uh…” “Yes?” “Well…I…uh…” “Brother. Look at me.” “Yessir?”
“Brother, do I even look like a Catholic?” “I wouldn’t know sir…” “Well, Brother, I’m not. Are you a Catholic?” “Uh, no sir…” “Do you
see any crucifixes hanging around here, or holy water at the door?” “Uh, no sir, not exactly…” “What do you mean, ‘not exactly’?” “Well, not
counting the Holy Spirit from the pulpit, of course! Ha! Ha! Ha! Sir, I got you again!” “Yes, yes, Bro, you certainly did! Ha! Ha! Ha! (God,
help me with this guy!) But, my point is, Brother, that you can plainly see that we, obviously, are not Catholics around here, so that
‘Inquisition’ stuff doesn’t even apply to us, right?” “Uh, right sir! So, then, the others are all wrong in their ‘go-getting’ soulwinning efforts,
